Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4x10 Day shifts), with weekday on-call coverage and required weekend call rotations (3 weekends every 6 weeks); float between lab specialties
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform EKG lead placement and continuous patient monitoring to support safe, high-quality procedures
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and cath lab equipment for diagnostic and interventional cases
- Prepare access sites, assist as room circulator and scrub to maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Support a broad case mix including STEMI, stroke thrombectomy, interventional neuro, TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, and PCI
- Float between lab specialties to meet patient and unit needs, demonstrating adaptability across cardiac, neuro, and IR procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response for coordinated patient care
- Stock and maintain procedural supplies and ensure equipment readiness for urgent and scheduled cases
- Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic to maintain clear patient records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year acute care Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT required (will accept RCIS in lieu of ARRT); ARRT Advanced or RCIS preferred
- Fluoro permit and active state license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Community hospital experience preferred
- First-time travel clinicians are welcome; travel experience is not required
- Willingness to take call weekday and weekend; able to float between lab specialties
- RTO restrictions must be included at time of submission
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a cardiovascular technology program or associate degree in a related field is preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and instrumentation, including diagnostic cath and PCI
- Interventional Radiology and Neurointerventional procedures, including thrombectomy and embolization
- Familiarity with structural interventions such as TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, and MitraClip
- Fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety practices
- Room circulator and scrub techniques, sterile field maintenance
- EKG lead placement and hemodynamic monitoring
- Exposure to Epic electronic health record workflows
- Ability to support advanced devices and therapies such as Impella and ECMO (preferred)
