Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Perform routine vital signs, documentation, and reporting changes in patient condition
• Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support continuity of care
• Support resident dignity and independence through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification; T-CNA endorsement where required
• Minimum hands-on experience as a CNA preferred (specific years not listed)
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Reliable, team-oriented, and adaptable to travel assignments

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient lifting/transfers and safe body mechanics
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of infection control practices and resident safety
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
