Shift Type: Variable days (per diem), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Provide safe transfer and mobility support to help residents stay as independent as possible
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Support infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Build positive relationships with residents and families through compassionate communication
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Maryland GNA certification or equivalent (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (immunizations, TB screening)
- Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on resident care
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as a per diem team member
- Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved GNA program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of resident-centered care and geriatric needs
- Proficient in safe transfer techniques and mobility assistance
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and report changes effectively
