Shift Type: Varies (facility schedule), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to support resident dignity
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift assistance as needed
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care provided accurately and timely in resident charts
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Engage residents with meaningful interaction and companionship to support emotional well-being
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) — required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred but new grads are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care and ADLs
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Safe transfer and positioning techniques
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing staff
