Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Create a friendly, comforting environment that promotes resident well-being
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Previous experience caring for older adults is preferred but new grads are welcome
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful bedside manner
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Competence with safe transfer techniques and fall prevention
- Skill in personal care tasks and maintaining resident hygiene
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident status clearly
- Teamwork and collaboration with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
