Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa De Oro Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor patients’ conditions, record findings, and escalate changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident-centered plans
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the health record system
- Support safe admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working per-diem day shifts, including early starts
- Strong clinical judgment, solid documentation skills, and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous LPN experience preferred
Education
- LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent vocational training
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic wound care
- Patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and clinical observation
- Accurate charting and experience with electronic health records
- Infection control best practices and resident safety principles
- Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical team members
