Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities to promote dignity and comfort
- Provide compassionate, hands-on support during personal care routines
- Monitor residents’ needs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kindness and consistency
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated compassion and patience working with older adults
- Ability to follow care plans and facility procedures accurately
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills relevant to resident care and personal assistance
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with nursing staff
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition
- Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
