Shift Type: Night shift (NOC). Specific start/end times to be confirmed with recruiter; nights only with floating to MSU as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill and post-critical patients in the ICU/PCU with careful clinical judgment
- Provide clear, timely patient education using the best modalities for each patient and family
- Implement and document infection control and isolation procedures to keep patients and staff safe
- Follow restraint policy correctly, evaluate patients, and document appropriately
- Operate, troubleshoot, and follow repair procedures for essential telemetry and PCU/MedSurg equipment
- Accurately complete nursing documentation and charge documentation for each shift
- Ensure physician orders are completed and checked in a timely fashion, including 24-hour order reviews when applicable
- Give complete and accurate change-of-shift reports to the oncoming team
- Report critical lab values promptly according to policy and maintain emergency cart readiness and supply restocking
Qualifications
- Active WA RN license (required)
- Clinical experience in ICU, PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical care
- Comfort and experience working night shifts
- Willingness to float to the MSU when needed
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot clinical equipment
