Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for adult and geriatric surgical patients
• Deliver general surgical anesthesia in a hospital-based operating room environment
• Work within a supervised CRNA model to support team-based anesthesia delivery
• Collaborate closely with OR RNs and surgical techs to ensure smooth perioperative flow
• Participate in preoperative assessment and postoperative handoff/documentation
• Adapt to varied shift lengths and contribute to coverage for vacancies and leaves

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential required
• Active RN and CRNA licensure (local licensure or ability to work as a local provider)
• Experience with hospital-based anesthesia and general surgical cases (adult/geriatric)
• Comfort working in a Level III trauma setting
• Willingness to complete credentialing process (90-120 days) and comply with facility requirements
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for OR collaboration

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (CRNA credential required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in anesthesia practice and perioperative patient management
• Familiarity with OR procedures and operating room workflow
• Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric populations
• Experience in hospital-based anesthesia and trauma-aware clinical decision making
• Comfort working within a supervised CRNA model and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Credentialing and compliance awareness for locum/temporary assignments
