Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN or RN scope
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform focused patient assessments and report changes promptly
• Document care clearly in the patient record and maintain chart accuracy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes
• Assist with care planning, patient education, and discharge preparation
• Support infection control practices and maintain a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license in good standing (eligible for NC practice preferred)
• Recent clinical experience in acute or long-term care settings is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Comfortable with electronic charting and clear documentation
• Skilled at time management and prioritizing patient needs during long shifts
• Ability to educate patients and families with empathy and clarity
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality care
