Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening/Night shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care and observations accurately and timely in resident records
- Support safe transfers and ambulation with attention to fall prevention
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection prevention practices
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Completion of an accredited Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
- Comfort with standing, lifting, and physical tasks typical of long-term care
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a GNA program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident-centered care principles and respectful bedside manner
- Basic infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Accurate documentation and reporting of resident observations
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to follow care plans
- Familiarity with long-term care practices and geriatric needs
