Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful care to geriatric residents every shift
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident changes
- Support safe mobility and fall prevention efforts for each resident
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff and family members about resident needs
- Follow facility policies for infection control, safety, and resident dignity
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment and participate in trainings
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Comfortable working with older adults and supporting activities of daily living
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable transportation for per-diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA program or equivalent training
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skilled in basic vital signs, ADL assistance, and safe patient handling
- Proficient in clear documentation and timely reporting of resident changes
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety protocols
- Compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills with residents and families
