Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders with evidence-based interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals that make a real difference for each patient
- Document thorough and timely progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to support holistic patient care
- Provide patient and family education to promote carryover and functional progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for SLP licensure in Maine
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Current certifications and credentials per facility requirements; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred when available
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload across ages and diagnoses
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with facility-based workflows
- Reliable, professional, and a great communicator who enjoys teamwork
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
- Experience with treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge planning
- Familiarity with common documentation standards and clinical outcome measures
- Ability to adapt therapy to individual patient needs and work collaboratively with care teams
- Good organizational skills and time management to handle a full caseload
