Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents during overnight hours
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient condition accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and on time
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate vacation coverage and continuity of care
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations during the shift
• Support resident comfort and dignity while maintaining facility policies and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license appropriate for practice (must be in good standing)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing dependable vacation coverage
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing program for LPN or RN (diploma, certificate, or degree as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration, wound care, and resident assessment
• Proficient with clinical charting and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of infection control practices and facility safety procedures
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
