Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform timely assessments and communicate changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical documentation
- Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity during all interactions
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions as needed
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from an accredited provider
- Clinical experience working in a long-term care or acute care setting is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
- Reliable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Infection control principles and safe patient handling
- Care planning and coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Time management and prioritization in busy clinical environments
