Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients using evidence-based speech, language, cognition, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans that target meaningful functional goals
- Provide skilled therapy and track progress with clear, timely documentation
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and families to coordinate comprehensive care
- Train and mentor support staff and family members to reinforce carryover and safety
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with state and facility regulations and best practice standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or compact-eligible Pennsylvania SLP license, or ability to obtain state licensure quickly
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills will be considered
- Minimum clinical experience working with adult and geriatric populations preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by facility
- Clear background check, up-to-date immunizations, and ability to meet credentialing requirements
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in dysphagia evaluation and management
- Experience with cognitive-communication and language interventions
- Familiarity with AAC strategies and assistive technology
- Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Solid clinical reasoning, time management, and family education skills
