Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for high-risk pregnant patients and newborns across the region
- Manage labor and delivery cases in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
- Handle complex clinical situations and coordinate regional transports safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with perinatal nurse practitioners, neonatology colleagues, and nursing teams to deliver patient-centered care
- Participate in hospitalist medicine responsibilities to ensure continuous, reliable coverage
- Contribute to clinical documentation, quality improvement, and protocols that improve outcomes
- Support a team-based approach that prioritizes patient safety and family-centered care
Qualifications
- Experience as an OBGYN or OB-Hospitalist with demonstrated Labor & Delivery and high-risk obstetrics expertise
- Clinical experience in hospitalist medicine and perinatal care, including handling complex cases
- Proven ability to coordinate regional transport and manage acuity in urgent situations
- Comfortable working flexible 12-hour and 24-hour shifts (full- or part-time)
- Residency within the immediate local area required
- Not accepting Locums candidates; not accepting visa candidates
