Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered physical therapy interventions for neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and ADL retraining tailored to each patient
• Educate patients and families on home safety, adaptive equipment and self-management strategies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and document care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in program development, clinical teaching and ongoing skills enhancement
• Maintain professional compliance with licensing, certifications (BLS) and facility policies
• Be flexible to float between areas/sites as needed to meet patient care needs

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact (must submit license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred (outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab)
• Dry Needling Certification only required if performing dry needling
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR); EPIC experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (radius up to 60 miles) and ability to be in-state for orientation week

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (participating NLC state)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular re-education
• Proficient in ADL retraining, patient education and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Experience with aquatic therapy and therapeutic activities a plus
• Strong clinical documentation and charting skills (EPIC familiarity preferred)
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time-management abilities
• Comfortable adapting to flexible scheduling and floating between sites
