Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately
• Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment following protocols
• Verify treatment setups and patient positioning to ensure precise care
• Document treatments and patient interactions clearly in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
• Provide compassionate patient education and support during treatment
• Participate in quality assurance checks and maintain equipment safety logs
• Assist with immobilization devices and treatment plan verification

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience
• Current state licensure as required for submission
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
• Strong patient care skills and ability to work in an acute care setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of radiation therapy principles and safety protocols
• Proficiency operating linear accelerators and treatment planning checks
• Comfortable using EPIC for charting and documentation
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail for treatment verification and QA processes
• Teamwork and collaboration with multidisciplinary oncology teams
