Shift Type: Rotating 4x10 schedule (typical 4 shifts/week). Day shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM; Night shift: 05:00 PM - 03:30 AM. Schedule includes weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities; exact shift pattern will be finalized closer to start date.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging and ensure excellent patient care during scans
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely, following radiation safety practices
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as needed for imaging procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Philips CT equipment and PACS for image acquisition and retrieval
• Perform image post-processing including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstructions to support accurate diagnosis
• Cover X-ray duties within scope of practice when floated to meet facility needs
• Support interdisciplinary teams in acute care, outpatient, and long-term care settings
• Provide on-call and weekend coverage as required to ensure continuous patient services

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (X-ray) a plus/preferred
• Minimum ~1 year radiology experience preferred; new grads/first-timers may be considered
• Current, active state license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Willingness to float to X-ray and provide on-call/weekend coverage
• Travelers must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required to operate facility-provided vehicle

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging fundamentals and advanced protocols (vascular CTA, brain perfusion, enterography)
• Contrast administration and related patient safety precautions
• IV starts, venipuncture, and peripheral IV maintenance
• Image post-processing: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), ROI measurements
• Familiarity with Philips CT systems and PACS workflow
• Experience charting in Epic or similar EHRs
• Radiation safety practices and isolation precautions/PPE
• Ability to adapt to acute care, outpatient, ED and ICU environments
