Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Circulate for cases with a strong focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to support smooth, efficient care
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation using EPIC to support clinical continuity and compliance
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Operating Room experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- EPIC experience required
- Current BCLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Operating Room workflows and perioperative best practices
- Circulating techniques across Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
- Strong collaboration and communication with surgical teams and anesthesia
- Accurate clinical documentation within EPIC
- Patient safety, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation familiarity
