Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using evidence-based outpatient assessment methods and develop individualized treatment plans
• Screen and build your caseload, managing a weekly caseload of ~25–35 cases
• Deliver skilled orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation interventions, including post-op care
• Perform fall risk and gross motor assessments to inform safe, functional plans of care
• Document thoroughly and timely in NextGen EHR to support continuity and billing workflows
• Collaborate with clinic staff and referring providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and recovery expectations
• Contribute to clinic quality initiatives and maintain professional standards while floating between sites

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (required)
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of assignment (current and active)
• Comfortable floating between two clinics and reliable transportation for commute
• Experience with NextGen EHR or willingness to learn it quickly
• Clinical experience in orthopedic and neurological conditions (post-op care, tendinopathies, concussion/vestibular, Parkinson’s, etc.)
• Strong caseload management skills and ability to manage 10–15 patient visits per day

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent professional degree as required by state practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Evaluation and assessment techniques for adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
• Orthopedic rehab skills (ACL, rotator cuff, total joint, plantar fasciitis, fractures, etc.)
• Neurological rehab familiarity including concussion and vestibular/vertigo care
• Fall risk assessment and gross motor functional testing
• Caseload management and visit flow in an outpatient setting
• Clear patient education, communication, and interprofessional collaboration
• Documentation competency in NextGen EHR
