Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate vascular ultrasound equipment to acquire clear, diagnostic-quality images
- Perform vein mapping and peripheral venous and arterial Doppler studies with precision
- Identify normal and abnormal imaging findings and document them accurately
- Communicate concise summaries of results to physicians and alert them to urgent problems
- Review images for quality and repeat studies as needed to ensure diagnostic value
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance documentation is completed prior to start
- Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered decision making
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of vascular ultrasound experience required
- ARDMS with RDCS and RVT credentials required (documentation requested)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Demonstrated ability to perform vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Dopplers
- Ability to submit compliance paperwork at least one week prior to start
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and physicians
