Shift Type: Days, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (every-other-week rotation noted: EOW)

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in an oncology clinic setting
- Administer treatments and vaccines per protocol while closely monitoring patient response
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient encounters and clinical interventions accurately in Cerner
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, side-effect management and follow-up
- Identify changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
- Participate in unit initiatives to improve patient experience and clinical outcomes
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification required
- ONS or ONCC certification required (or active ONS membership/certification)
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (oncology experience strongly preferred)
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
- Ability to complete a 12-hour orientation
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Oncology nursing principles and chemotherapy/infusion familiarity
- Acute care nursing knowledge and clinic workflow experience
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and infection control best practices
