Location: Glendale, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied start times, typically 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM; call required on Saturdays and Sundays every 5-6 weeks and one call day per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage robotic arms and assist surgeons by adding suture, mesh, and flushing during robotic procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile field for urology, orthopedics, GYN, endoscopy, and general surgery cases
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth turnover and patient safety
Float to St. Joe's Main Campus and AZ Laveen as needed
Participate in on-call shifts to cover emergencies and scheduled surgeries

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital OR setting
Robotic surgery experience is a must
Proficiency in orthopedics, urology, endoscopy, GYN, and general surgery

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in robotic surgical systems and instrument management
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
Strong understanding of surgical anatomy and procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
