Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for cardiac surgeries in the CVOR
Scrub in the main OR for ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn surgeries
Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical instruments are sterile and ready
Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols

Qualifications

Must be able to single scrub cardiac cases
Ability to scrub in multiple surgical specialties
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique
Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment for various specialties
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
