Speech Language Pathologist - Director of Rehabilitation

Location: Potosi, MO

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. No weekends or on-call required.

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team (PT, OT, ST, PTA, COTA)
Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes and regulations
Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients
Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Prior leadership or Director of Rehab experience preferred
Strong knowledge of PDPM
Active Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology
New graduates not accepted for this position

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech-language pathology and rehabilitation
Leadership and management skills in SNF/LTC settings
Proficient in PDPM and regulatory compliance
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Strong organizational and communication skills
