Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (or compact license eligibility)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Previous experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred
Ability to adapt to different patient populations and clinical settings

Education

Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to manage a varied caseload
