Shift Type: Days, 36 hours guaranteed per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the therapy team
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs to promote recovery
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
Support patients in regaining mobility and independence with compassion and encouragement

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in Wyoming (or ability to obtain before start)
At least 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
Knowledge of Medicare and insurance documentation standards
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Ability to build rapport with patients and motivate them toward their goals
