Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide brief psychosocial and substance use assessments in emergency settings
• Deliver crisis intervention and hold assessments for adult and pediatric patients
• Facilitate inpatient diversion and care coordination with medical teams and community providers
• Develop safety plans and guide patients through the continuum of care
• Communicate effectively with families, referents, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document evidence-based interventions and discharge planning in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Master degree in Social Work or a comparable clinical Master degree program
• Active LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT license in the state of Montana
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in crisis intervention or psychiatric emergencies
• Preferred: Eligible for Mental Health Professional Practitioner (MHPP) designation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Master degree in Social Work or other comparable clinical Master degree program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to maintain professionalism under stress
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and EMR systems (PointClickCare)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions
