Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, 3 days per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in our Med Surg unit
Perform comprehensive assessments and care planning for diverse patient populations
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments with precision and safety
Monitor patients for changes in condition and collaborate with providers
Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
Document all care accurately in Cerner EHR using Care Compass
Serve as a mentor and team player, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Med Surg or ER experience required
Previous travel experience required
Active Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ACLS/PALS within 3 months of start)
Cerner EHR experience required
Graduate of an accredited RN program

Graduate of an accredited RN program

Knowledge & Skills

Expert patient assessment and care planning skills
Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Strong communication and patient education abilities
SBAR handoff and interdisciplinary collaboration
Infection prevention and patient safety practices
