Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
Help patients regain independence in daily activities through therapeutic exercises
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety
Document patient progress accurately and adjust goals as needed
Create a supportive and motivating environment for healing

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license required
At least 1 year of recent experience as an OT
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
Knowledge of OT modalities and treatment techniques
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse patient needs
Team-oriented with a patient-first mindset
