Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, rotating weekends, on-call as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment for various surgical procedures
Assist surgeons during general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and urology cases
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure all instruments and supplies are available
Handle surgical instruments and equipment with precision and care
Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) certification required
Current BLS certification
Proficient in general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and urology procedures
Previous travel experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to different surgical specialties and hospital protocols
Commitment to patient safety and infection control
