Location: Lewistown, Missouri

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, flexible 8-hour days, start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 35 guaranteed work week

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care
Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical standards
Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments to ensure optimal outcomes
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
Document all treatments and maintain patient records accurately in the electronic system
Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, aides, and students

Qualifications

Active Missouri Physical Therapy License (or ability to obtain)
At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (new grads with Level II clinical experience welcome)
Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
Ability to commute to Lewistown, MO and start on schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Knowledge of LTC and rehab best practices
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Proficiency with electronic health records
Understanding of APTA and state practice acts
