Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend, 36 hours/week with 24 hours guaranteed

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to ICU/CCU patients, monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records
Float to Med Surg/Tele units when needed to support patient care across the facility
Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
Active New York RN license (or compact state with NY license)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
EPIC experience required - proficiency must be noted on profile
Must have own vehicle for travel assignment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to float to Med Surg/Tele when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU/CCU nursing including critical care monitoring and interventions
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system
Strong floating skills across Med Surg and Telemetry units
BLS and ACLS certified
Exceptional critical thinking and assessment abilities
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
