Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours, no weekends

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practice
Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care as part of rehab
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical documentation
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
Collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in patient care conferences
Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides as needed
Ensure compliance with APTA and state practice acts and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

At least 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required
Long Term Care or Rehab experience required
Missouri state license required (or ability to obtain)
New graduates accepted with Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation)
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical reasoning
Wound care and rehabilitation techniques
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercises
Modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation
Assistive devices and patient education
Electronic documentation systems
