Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents
Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
Must have completed COVID-19 vaccine or present an approved religious/medical exemption
Ability to obtain and maintain required background checks through DHSS Background Check Center
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and assistance techniques
Vital sign monitoring and documentation
Infection control and safety protocols
Effective teamwork and collaboration
Empathy and active listening
