Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR to improve daily living skills
Document patient progress accurately and timely to ensure quality care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and exercises
Adapt treatment techniques to meet individual patient needs and goals

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Valid California COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
New graduates welcome - we provide mentorship and support
Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting is a plus

Education

Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills for documentation
Empathy and patience when working with elderly or rehabilitation patients
