Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating 12-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining strict sterile field
Collaborate with neonatalogists and mid-level providers in a 24/7 environment
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac defects, genetic disorders, surgical needs, ECMO, and cooling therapy
Float to mother-baby and labor care as needed (babies only)
Act as a resource and support for the care team, including charge nurse duties

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Minimum 3 years of overall RN experience
Previous travel experience preferred
Must pass SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
50-mile radius rule applies

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in NICU nursing and sterile field technique
Certified in BLS, NRP, and Cardiac STABLE
Experience with Cerner EMR
Familiarity with Phillips telemetry and ventilator management
Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
