Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including those with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, and post-operative conditions
Monitor telemetry and titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Float as a helping hand to other departments if fully cross-trained
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Current RN license in Oregon or eligibility for OR 90-day emergency license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
Ability to care for general pediatric patients as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
