Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (rotating days/nights), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (routine and intermediate)
Independently manage patient care including titrating Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips
Monitor fetal and maternal cardiac telemetry using FE Centricity Perinatal system
Collaborate as a strong team player, supporting fellow nurses as backup in a fast-paced environment
Float to other units as needed, providing helping hands wherever necessary
Handle a dynamic workload, from quiet periods to sudden high-acuity situations with multiple labors and transfers

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license (or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Experience in L&D, Postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Strong independence and ability to work with minimal supervision in all areas of care
Excellent assessment and multitasking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and EFM systems (FE Centricity Perinatal)
Knowledge of telemetry and maternal cardiac monitoring
Ability to titrate intravenous drips safely
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to float and assist across units
