Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across multiple facilities in Zone 1
Float seamlessly between trauma centers, STEMI receiving facilities, and stroke centers
Manage a dynamic patient population including abdominal pain, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension
Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 based on acuity
Perform point-of-care lab testing and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and respiratory therapists in fast-paced environments

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years of recent ER experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile zone covering 5 facilities
Ability to adapt quickly to varying unit sizes and patient volumes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in high-acuity settings
Experience with common ER drips, vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
