Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed; weeknight call 1-2 nights/week and weekend call every 3 weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents during ERCP procedures to treat bile and pancreatic duct issues
Operate and troubleshoot the ultrasound processor for EUS, assisting with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) tools for tissue biopsies
Set up advanced electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for EMR/ESD procedures to remove complex polyps and lesions
Handle specialized equipment, such as balloon catheters, for enteroscopy procedures to visualize and treat the small bowel
Assist with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup for endolumenal surgery
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes in accordance with SGNA and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum 2 years of experience in Endoscopy/GI Lab
Experience with advanced procedures: ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, Enteroscopy, Endolumenal Surgery
Proficiency in high-level disinfection and SGNA standards
Must pass a Pass/Fail open book exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced endoscopy procedures
Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and reprocessing protocols
Ability to work in a high-paced, procedure-oriented environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
