Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with rotating call (weeknights, weekends, holidays)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
Assist with scrub and circulating duties as needed
Operate Maclab and Cerner systems for documentation and equipment management
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists and techs
Respond to STEMI and emergency call-backs within 30 minutes

Qualifications

Current RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
Cath lab or EP experience preferred, but not required; EP room assignment requires prior EP experience
Ability to pass a Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation
Must not have worked as a permanent staff employee at any CSH facility in the past 12 months

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Maclab and Cerner systems
Experience with sedation administration
EP experience is a plus
Scrub experience preferred
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
