Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with potential weekend and holiday rotations

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide nutritional care to patients across multiple units including telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU
Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on dietary guidelines
Monitor and document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
Acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Clinical nutrition assessment
Acute care patient management
Cerner EMR proficiency
Interdisciplinary collaboration
