Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy to orthopedic patients, specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation including shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Cover outpatient orthopedics primarily, with occasional acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care
Manage a caseload of 12 patients per day, focusing on functional outcomes and patient-centered care
Collaborate with a rehab team including aides and COTAs to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute settings

Qualifications

Active Oregon Occupational Therapy License required
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent required
Strong orthopedic experience, especially in upper extremity therapy (shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands)
Experience with fractures, tendonitis, and post-surgical rehabilitation
Lymphedema training is a plus, but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and upper extremity conditions
Proficiency in ReDoc documentation and Meditech systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with patients and team members
Ability to adapt to both outpatient and acute care settings
