Location: Tacoma, WA

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends and holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI studies
Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
Operate GE and Phillips imaging equipment with precision
Utilize EPIC and McKesson PACS for documentation and image management
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology ARNPs to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all protocols

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current WA state license
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
IV start skills essential
Proficiency with EPIC, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS
Experience with GE and Phillips equipment preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols and radiation safety
Ability to perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Excellent IV start technique and venipuncture skills
Proficient in EPIC EMR and PACS systems (McKesson, CVPACS)
Familiarity with GE and Phillips imaging equipment
Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team
