Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging
Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images
Monitor patient vital signs and ensure comfort during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) required
State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in California
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably with PET/CT

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceuticals
Proficient in operating PET/CT and SPECT imaging systems
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
