Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Provide compassionate patient care including positioning, preparation, and clear communication
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate routine maintenance
- Follow radiation safety protocols and dose-reduction best practices
- Document exams accurately in the imaging system and electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
- Cover on-call shifts and respond promptly when needed, living within the required proximity
- Adapt to rotating schedules and step in for overtime to ensure continuous patient coverage
Qualifications
- Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent) required
- CT certification required
- State licensure to practice radiologic technology in Hawaii (current and active)
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
- Must be able to reside within 20 minutes of the hospital for on-call coverage
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of CT and X-Ray imaging techniques and protocols
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record documentation
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Skill in patient positioning, IV contrast administration support, and trauma imaging
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate technical issues
- Good clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize emergent studies
