Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to achieve measurable outcomes
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes clearly and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate exceptional patient care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and prevention strategies

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist — Maryland license preferred or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon start)
• Previous experience in physical therapy settings preferred; travel/contract experience a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-first mindset

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (or equivalent degree meeting state requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal and neuromuscular assessment and treatment
• Proficient with therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Solid documentation practices and familiarity with therapy outcomes measurement
• Ability to triage, prioritize caseload, and manage time effectively
• Comfortable collaborating with nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation staff
